Company history

  • 1995 - Rapid Deployment Limited RDL Hungary Ltd., owned by Englishman Ian Fogg, establishes Ventiv Health Ltd’s predecessor, which specializes in pharmaceutical labor recruitment and outsourcing. In RDL’s first year in Hungary, the company, in the framework of labor outsourcing, takes on launch of two vital original drugs of the Swedish company Astra, Losec and Plendil, with its 15 person exclusive medical representative team.
  • 1996 - Sales Force Outsourcing assignments for Novartis, Boehringer Ingelheim and Egis. During the fulfillment of these assignments, our company employs nearly 60 medical representatives.
  • 1997 - The commencement of recruitment activity in the pharmaceutical and health industries. After a short time, entrusted by nearly all of Hungary’s pharmaceutical firms, we search for future sales, marketing, financial, and administrative managers and employees.
  • 1999 - The American Snyder Corporation buys up the English and Hungarian RDL, and has them listed on the American NASDAQ stock exchange (VTIV). The company group employs nearly 5,000 people in the United States, England, Germany, France, and Hungary.
  • 2000 - Ventiv buys up MedRep Ltd., a company with a profile similar to Ventiv. As a result of the acquisition, Ventiv becomes the leading HR service provider of pharmaceutical firms operating in Hungary.
  • 2003 - Ventiv Health Hungary Ltd. becomes 100% Hungarian owned.
  • From 2006 - We continuously deal with labor recruitment and outsourcing for other industries. Employees from primarily financial, administrative, and logistical fields are placed by us.
  • 2008 - We launch, under the patented trademark Ventiv SFOTM, a new service within which we carry out outsourced medical and pharmacy representation activity (Sales Force Outsourcing).
  • 2009 - We create a company group under the name Ventiv Group and found a subsidiary under the name Ventiv Expo Ltd. Ventiv Expo is Hungary’s exclusive representative of the world’s leading mobile exhibition system, Nomadic Display.
  • 2011 - Ventiv Human is the latest addition to the family of well-know Ventiv brands. To reflect this change, the company's name has been officially changed to Ventiv Ltd. The underlying reason for these changes is Ventiv's strategy of diversification. As Ventiv has already implemented several successful recruitment projects outside of the pharmaceutical industry, the company is now making conscious efforts to make further headway in non-pharma industries. Accordingly, the new name is a step in this direction.
